Saint Lucia School of Music

It was difficult securing funds to keep the St. Lucia School of Music going. The enrollment of students was slow and monetary subventions no longer existed. The school was going through a hard time and they needed to find a solution to get them back on stream– an image to create interest that would translate into investment.

We held workshops with staff, students and parents to help create the new story with a bold, expressive theme where everyone involved plays a part in the action. We formalised this culture into the school's comprehensive book of brand guidelines.

The school needed to get young people excited about the world of music. Vibrant, collaborative, accessible, professional and fun is the school's new identity. The new tagline "An instrument of Change" gave the school the ability to broaden its scope of works.

But that was not all.  We created "Children Make Music", a subbrand to inspire troubled youth through after-school orchestral programmes. It also kept the school engaged with communities throughout the island.

The result, a rejuvenated, inclusive, inspiring brand that connects to people– all people.
