SMMA
The Soufriere Marine Management Association is a self-sustained not-for-profit NGO authorised by the Government of Saint Lucia. Its mandate is to conserve and protect the natural marine environment. The SMMA approached me to develop a new brand identity. Compared to the past design staff, stakeholders and the public find the new look friendlier, professional and more trustworthy.
The use of colour was a priority in the logo design. The colours are tropical, marine and environmentally friendly. The overlap type treatment suggests an organisation that is willing to work with others to get desired results.
