HIA PROJECT

The Hewanorra International Airport Project is a USD 175 million investment to re-develop St. Lucia's international airport into an unmatched operation with significant enhancements to present facilities and significant improvements to customer experience.

A grand vision requires that all who are party to that vision be aware of the benefits of that vision. Information, the details of the plan and clarifying any misconceptions about the project was a priority for Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority. Ultimately the goal was to have the entire country rally behind the biggest undertaking in its history . We were approached by SLASPA to develop a public awareness campaign.

We developed an identity– a logo and tagline. The logo highlights a conspicuous architectural attribute: the calabash shaped columns. The tagline "Ready for Take Off" connects people directly to the project but sub-consciously to a national development project that provides a platform for future generations
to build on.
